SHICHINOHE MASARU (1959)

Japanese artist Masaru Shichinohe (b.1959) paints a world sitting between surrealism and literary narrative stemming from his architectural and illustrative background.

Testing science and the supernatural in phantasmagorical visuals of young boys and girls with evasive gazes in disproportionate spaces. Shichinohe has created an uncomfortable science in contemporary art.
